Accounting Directors is a company that promotes automation of data-entry for daily operations. Our specialty is QuickBooks integration consulting and seminars to introduce QuickBooks users to third-party developers who provide boxed solutions as well as custom solutions for specialized needs. We maintain value-added reseller and affiliate relationships with more than 30 developers, in order to reach our goal of educating clients.

Clients receive an introduction to 300+ integrated QuickBooks solutions offered by the “Intuit Developer Network”. During the education process, they may also receive webinars from developers (for introducing applications) a proposal that suggests two to three alternative options, a “Return on Investment” (ROI) Analysis and flow charts that visually clarify the proposed data-flow process and training requirements. After selection and implementation, on-going support services are delivered by “Remote Access” technology which allows us to see their screen while we talk them thru their problem, or correct the problem for them.

Dawn Scranton is a Certified QuickBooks Professional Advisor (CQA), Certified QuickBooks Point of Sale Advisor, and author of the popular book, QuickBooks Add-ons & Integration Consulting. She is an international spokesperson and presenter for the Intuit Developers Network (IDN) and Certified QuickBooks Professional Advisors venues.

Because of Dawn’s work on the product Tax Guardian, her firm is a Premier Member of the Intuit Development Network, and Dawn serves on the IDN Advisory Council for Intuit. She is also certified as a Sleeter Consultant by The Sleeter Group, the official training company for QuickBooks.

Dawn has been advising QuickBooks Users since 1993, has over 20 years of accounting experience and earned a BA in Accounting with a minor in computer study.

In summary, we offer QuickBooks training to address immediate needs, quarterly review for routine maintenance, and QuickBooks integration consulting for advancement of their business. Developers are expected to install and train clients on their own applications and then we follow-up with the implementation of interfacing their application with QuickBooks Financial Software.
